This Policy is established and disclosed by Value Tree, Ltd. (the "Company") for the web and mobile service (the "ValueCrab"), in order to protect users' personal information and respect their rights, in compliance with the Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable laws.
This English text is provided for convenience only. The official language of this Policy is Korean; in the event of any discrepancy between the Korean and English versions, the Korean version prevails.
1. Personal Information Collected and Methods
The Company collects the following personal information for membership registration and provision of ValueCrab.

2. Purposes of Collection and Use
- Member identification and authentication; verification of sign-up intent and approval management;
- Provision and operation of ValueCrab (value-investing data, reports, calculators);
- Sending the free weekly report and notices/announcements;
- Responding to inquiries and handling feedback;
- Improving ValueCrab, preventing abuse, and security.
3. Retention and Use Period
- As a rule, the Company destroys personal information without delay upon membership withdrawal or when the purpose of collection and use is achieved.
- Emails for report subscription are retained until the user requests to unsubscribe.
- Where retention is required by applicable law, information is kept for the relevant period:
- Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce: records of contracts/withdrawal of subscription 5 years, records of payment and supply of goods 5 years, records of consumer complaints/disputes 3 years;
- Protection of Communications Secrets Act: access logs 3 months.
4. Provision to Third Parties
The Company does not provide users' personal information to third parties beyond the scope specified in this Policy, except where the user has consented in advance or where required by law.
5. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing
To provide ValueCrab reliably, the Company outsources personal information processing as follows.

Overseas transfer may occur as a result of outsourcing, and the Company manages and supervises processors to handle personal information securely.
6. Rights of Data Subjects and How to Exercise Them
- Users may at any time request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of their personal information.
- Rights may be exercised by email (gmockim@gmail.com), and the Company will act without delay.
- Users may withdraw consent to the collection and use of personal information by withdrawing membership.
7. Use of Cookies
The Company uses cookies and local storage to maintain login sessions and improve convenience. Users may refuse cookie storage through browser settings, but some functions such as login may then be restricted.
8. Measures to Secure Personal Information
- Encrypted storage of passwords and encryption in transit (SSL/TLS);
- Minimizing access privileges to personal information and access control;
- Security measures to prevent hacking and malicious code.

This Privacy Policy may be amended in line with changes in law, policy, or ValueCrab, and any change will be announced on the ValueCrab screen along with its effective date.
